Kudos to our president. At least he understands the implications of cutting and running from Afghanistan and while the Karzai government is far from picture perfect, the alternative would be disastrous. America would be right back to pre-9/11, both our enemies and our allies would once again see the American people faltering in the face of adversity, unwilling to fight the good fight while leaving our so-called allies whithering on the vine after our great escape.

And that pretty much sums up president Obama's acceptance of the Nobel Peace Prize. It is, for all intents and purposes, a laugher and a slap in the face for those much more deserving. Even the president admits the controversy surrounding this issue and the international boondoggle brought to light by the many detractors who see this award for what is truly is. A bone tossed to our president by an international community that otherwise ignores him.

That would be our president. His popularity is sinking. His job approval...sinking. The independents and moderates are beginning to desert him. Even the liberals are chaffing at the bit. The one inescapable and painful conclusion...all is not well in La La Land, or as some are want to call it, the oval office.

With more and more Americans turning against Obamacare and becoming ever more suspicious and resentful of the spending frenzy in Washington, the closed door...

Huckabee commuted sentence of suspect in Washington police slayings

I cannot believe that Huckabee will be able to run for president after this. How would anyone that serves in uniform let alone just your ordinary citizen support a man that commuted this man's sentence (along with Dummond's)?

So, I watched the interview. I'm no Oprah fan, but it seems many people are drawn to her like a magnet and she does seem to give good interview, soooooooooo. I saw the softer, more refreshing side of Palin in this interview. A more relaxed, down to earth person. She didn't seem to go into detail much about her future. She did talk a bit about the behind the scenes of the election. Actually it seemed more like placing fault on anyone...

Things are looking a bit dicey for President Bush's former button man. Dick Cheney is facing an inquiry into whether the fact that he ordered certain clandestine intel/military operations to be kept secret from Congress means he broke the law. He could be looking at criminal charges.
